The next couple of months are going to be all about the 2017 Hobsons Bay Business Excellence Awards when we start to receive entries, hold our training sessions and continue planning for the gala awards event which will be held Friday 20 October at the Williamstown Town Hall.
For those of you who have not yet started your application, and you are wondering how to best approach it or need a 'refresher' on what to do, Hobsons Bay City Council is hosting two information sessions at the Civic Centre, Altona for potential business award applications on Wednesday 12 July at 4pm and 6pm.
Business representatives will be given the opportunity to ask questions and gain tips on how to complete their application. The information sessions are expected to run for approximately an hour, where there will be a short powerpoint presentation followed by question and answers.
The awards provide a unique opportunity for businesses both large and small to be recognised for their achievements, innovation and leading work practices. Don't miss this opportunity to ask questions and get assistance before submitting your application.
