Rainbow Club Point Cook Inc

Rainbow Club was founded by Stephen Morgan.  

Commencing in February 2010 with just 4 members and 1 swim teacher; we now have more than 1,500 members on our register and provide swim lessons, support worker services and social activities across multiple locations operating seven days a week with calls to establish additional activities and services throughout Australia and beyond.

Our experience has shown that having our club providing these services is a WIN-WIN-WIN for all involved;

• The members gain much needed skills and confidence in a socially safe environment.
• The member’s family and loved ones anxieties and social isolation diminishes as they see their member thrive amongst their peers and they themselves link with others on similar life journeys.
• Rainbow Club provides an outlet for challenging behaviour people who may otherwise disrupt regular services and routines in a safe and supportive culture.

The club hires venues for its members and families exclusive use so as to allow the member to enjoy the activity without any fear or behaviour-based stigma being attached; thus, heading towards normalising such activities and assisting their ability to enjoy such activities in neuro-typical (“normal”) environments.
