New Australian Internship Program

CareerSeekers partner with leading organisations to create paid internships for recently arrived refugees and asylum seekers who are looking to restart professional careers in Australia. Internships provide valuable local experience and enable the intern to develop a professional network – both of which are often barriers to new Australians accessing professional employment.

Currently, the program is open to individuals who are:

  • Asylum seeker or recently arrived refugee with English language proficiency suitable for a professional workplace
  • A bachelor degree from a university in their country of origin
  • Professional experience in their country of origin
