Hobsons Bay’s economic development team is pleased to share the latest news and data insights affecting the local economy.  

For December 2022, Hobsons Bay saw total local spend reach $160.9M, up 6.43% from December 21 and 17.7% from November 22. However, high inflation rates, recorded at 7.3% in November, continues to distort consumer spending figures and restrict growth.
